STRONG LEADERS BUILD STRONG CLUBS!

As in previous years, each of the clubs in the district will be asked to add new names to this roster while retaining all whose names are printed.  The charge from our International President Sid Scruggs will be again to find those quality members, not just a warm body, who will recruited through our great club service projects.  If we can get them active and involved from the beginning, we hope to have Lions for Life. 

In recruiting and inducting new members, it so very important that we look for the strengths and the gifts that each of these new members bring to our clubs.  It is critical that we begin to identify, encourage and support those new members who either show or have to potential to be strong leaders in our clubs, zones, district and our communities.  Without strong leadership in all of these places, we merely survive.  With strong, trained leadership, we will strength from club all the way to our communities.  I do truly believe that strong leaders do build strong clubs!

I do look forward this year to work with you all as we grow our clubs, look for gifts in our members and utilize those gift in training strong leaders for our organization and the communities.
